Relax on the balcony and spot whales and dolphins passing by, or head down for a swim and a snorkel. For the more active there are wonderful “trilhos” {hikes} on your doorstep. The charming whale-watching town of Lajes de Pico is ten minutes drive away and Pico mountain is half an hours drive.
